Bill Weeks
Recruitment
William “Bill/Billy" Weeks began playing Rugby after being relieved of his duties (goalkeeper) on the Seton Hall University Soccer Team (1993). After graduating from SHU (1995) Billy continued to play Rugby as the result of a dare from then National Panel Referee Terry Haas. Billy played for South Jersey RFC, before jumping ship to their arch-rivals, Philly-Whitemarsh, for the opportunity to play in the Super League. In May of 2000, he moved to the Washington, DC region and played with Rocky Gorge RFC until 2012.
After the birth of their 2nd child(2010), Billy’s wife decided that he would have more opportunities to leave the house on Saturday morning, and return at dinner time, if it was with a whistle instead of a mouth guard. Billy began refereeing in 2013.
